You should 👀 Soft sand 👇 ✔️ Open the clubface more ✔️ Use the bounce ✔️ Take a slightly wider stance ✔️ Allow the club to enter the sand a little further behind the ball ✔️ Keep the speed through impact The goal is to let the club glide through the sand rather than dig. Hard sand 👇 ✔️ Open the face less ✔️ Use less bounce ✔️ Narrow the stance slightly ✔️ Enter the sand closer to the ball ✔️ Focus on a more controlled strike With firm sand, too much bounce can cause the club to bounce into the ball and lead to a thin or bladed shot. The key is adapting to the lie. Don’t hit every bunker shot with exactly the same setup and technique.
