It’s thermal printer paper. Heat activates the ink. Heat protectant should block the heat from activating the ink. Hope this helps.

When I seen amika I immediately gasped. That’s what I’ve been using for the past 6 years wondering why my hair is falling out and more damaged than it used to be😭 definitely need to find a better leave in conditioner/heat protectant
