I’m a new knitter (started last Jan) and I’ve made three Tolstas! I bought Luce when it came out and just picked up the Kathy and Ariundle. I have the dumbest question, I understand what you mean when you say DK or DK gauge but I don’t know what you’re referencing when you say “4-ply?” Is that like aran weight? How would I know when to choose the 4-ply version of the pattern vs the original? And does the 4-ply version of the pattern call for a different type of yarn? Sorry for

I’m intrigued, have you always knitted in the European style? I have only ever worked in the traditional British style which looks quite cumbersome by comparison. I’m not sure I’d be able to change though! 😂
