@interlinkt3: InterLink’s Next Five Years: A Vision Built for Scale 🚀 The journey to 10 million Linkers is an important chapter in InterLink’s history, but the next stage is where the ecosystem’s long-term direction becomes even more significant. InterLink has identified seven major priorities that will guide its development over the next five years, covering everything from advanced security to real-world utility and institutional adoption. The first priority, Post-Quantum Security, focuses on preparing the network for a future in which quantum computing may create new challenges for existing cryptographic technologies. InterLink is researching and testing post-quantum cryptographic technologies to prepare for these potential security challenges. The second priority is infrastructure for Real-World Assets. Through InterLink Business Token Exchange, or IBTE, the goal is to make it easier for businesses to tokenize real-world assets and move business activities on-chain. This could help connect traditional businesses with blockchain infrastructure. The third priority is Open Mainnet, targeted for 2027. This will be a major transition for the ecosystem. Mobile mining will end, while validators, staking, applications, external liquidity, and genuine on-chain activity will become increasingly important. InterLink will also become more connected to the broader blockchain economy. The fourth priority is Tier-1 exchange listings. InterLink aims to work toward leading global exchanges, with Binance, OKX, and Coinbase among the key targets. Building strong liquidity, compliance, security, and institutional infrastructure will be important foundations for this goal. The fifth priority is expanding the Digital Asset Treasury Network. The long-term target is at least 500 companies and institutions holding ITL as part of their Digital Asset Treasury, with more than 20% targeted to be publicly listed companies. The sixth priority is expanding ITL utility. The vision includes travel, hotels, shopping, food, entertainment, gift cards, digital services, and many other real-world categories. The seventh priority is scaling verification and democratizing digital asset ownership. InterLink aims to improve verification infrastructure so more people can participate while maintaining strong identity, anti-fraud, KYC/AML, and compliance standards.
