@campergirlandsassy527: Juicy, cheesy, bacon-loaded burger filling wrapped inside sweet onion layers and baked (or air fried) Its a yummy meal. 😋🧅 *Ingredient for onions- 3 large white or yellow onions 1lb (450g) ground beef 85% lean 1 tsp salt ½ tsp black pepper 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp onion powder 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce 1 -1 1/2 tsp hot sauce-if you want heat 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese 4 slices of lean bacon -cut in small pieces *Glaze Ingredients- ½ cup BBQ sauce 1 tosp hot sauce 1 tbsp honey Preparation - Prepare the Onions-🧅 Peel onions and cut them in half crosswise. Separate layers carefully. Use 2 similar-sized outer layers together to form the “shell” or bowl. *Cheeseburger Filling -In a bowl, mix: Ground beef Salt, pepper,Garlic powder & onion powder Worcestershire sauce and Hot sauce. Fold in shredded cheddar cheese. Fill the center with the beef mixture. Sprinkle with bacon pieces on top. **Don’t overfill onions or they might burst when cooking. Let meat be loose don’t press to much. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) Place on a foil lined baking tray. Bake for 35-45 minutes until bacon is crispy and beef is fully cooked (internal temp 160°F /71°C). (Air Fryer Method. Cook at 375°F (190°C) for 18-22 minutes, flipping halfway if needed. ) *Glaze- Mix BBQ sauce + hot sauce + honey. Drizzle over bombs during last 5 minutes of cooking. Broil 2-3 minutes for caramelized finish Serve with ranch dressing or spicy dip. Sprinkle fresh parsley for color. *Let rest for 5 minutes.
