Republicans will look at this and find a way to call it a hand out. Ironic how Fox is reporting on something like this when the questions being asked are the ones that they don’t want asked. Why must anyone eat out of the trash, in the wealthiest country in the world, how are our people going hungry? What kind of society do we live in where so many people struggle survive while the rich and comfortable fatten themselves? What kind of socioeconomic system do we live in with such a stark contrast between those who have nothing, and those who have everything, is it a good one? What system do we live in that endows the rich to get richer at the expense of other human beings? Welcome to the beginnings of socialism folks. God bless this kind man, and may those he feeds be gifted with another day of not being hungry.

If I ever owned a cafe or restaurant, I want to do this. I worked at a coffee shop that gave quarter cups with free refills and access to internet for the people on the streets. Sure there are a few bad eggs, but majority are just trying to get through the day.
