In any other situation it’s my nightmare. BUT THAT’S THE MINNESOTA STATE FAIR. I was one of the hoard on Thursday. Stayed for 13 hours. Pushed two kids in a wagon all 13 hours in those crowds and I didn’t want to leave. Best day ever.

lol idk what animals your talking about but the 4H animals are extremely well taken care of at the fair, some of those animals are worth $50,000+ and are years of hard work for many young people .

I just pretend I’m part of a little zombie horde until I get where I’m going and it makes it a little less bad 🤣 but also just remembering everyone is just there to have fun, and they’re all people with their own stories and lives, and somehow we’re all together for moment

You have to know how to fair lol. Make a plan, don’t go on the first 2 days. I go every year for 10-12 hours and rarely wait in lines longer than 5-10 min. We have a whole JOURNEY of preparing in terms of route planning in the fair, what we want and what we can skip and we get there at 730 am lol

Moved here in 2012. Have yet to go. My anxiety and frustration hits me just thinking about traffic and parking. So I can’t even mentally get myself inside before my brain checks out.

My husband and are transplants and we went once bc everyone RAVED about. I would genuinely rather jump of a cliff than go again. Miserable experience. Stayed maybe 2 hrs and that was only bc it took 45 minutes to get OUT
