Couldn’t you use the tape as a guide for cutting the fabric and just give some seam allowance like they do with patterns for sewing?

I wanted to try this technique for a while and I have everything except for a full size double sided page. Like and A4 size or something. I don’t know why it didn’t occur to me to use normal tape to cover what I want…. Thank you for this! Awesome picture by the way. Can’t wait to see the whole wall.

The stitch ripper to push the fabric into the slots was perfection. With the little ball and the teeny knife-y edge!! Pure genius. It's a gorgeous picture. And I'm a Pisces do. I love it even more! hah😊🌷
