Absolutely not. Most all tandard butter wrappers are made of wax paper or plastic coated paper, not heat-resistant silicone like real parchment paper. They ARE safe to use greasing pans, separate layers of baked goods stored in the freezer or wrapping up cold foods like cheese or prepared sandwiches!
