Nahh not universal lol. I'm from Boston and I can absolutely relate, however when I moved through the South and traveled people give you HARD eye contact and they absolutely do stare at you. While you're walking by, while you're driving, while you're sitting down at a restaurant. People absolutely stare at you and it is unsettling as a Bostonian 😩 IDK what it is.
