@trizique: 🎬 The Ladies Man (2000) | Trizique Review The Ladies Man is what happens when you take a three-minute SNL character, give him 84 minutes, and say, “Good luck, brother.” 😂 Tim Meadows’ Leon Phelps is ridiculous, confident, wildly inappropriate, and somehow completely committed to his own nonsense. The supporting cast is stacked too, with Karyn Parsons, Billy Dee Williams, Will Ferrell, Lee Evans and a gloriously random Julianne Moore appearance. The problem? Leon is hilarious in small doses. Stretching his personality across an entire movie makes the joke wear thin, and the plot feels more like a collection of sketches wearing a movie costume. Critics absolutely dragged it for that exact reason. But I can't lie... there are moments where this stupid-ass movie is genuinely funny. 😂 It has that aggressively early-2000s comedy energy where subtlety packed its bags and left the country. Trizique verdict: 🍿 6/10 Not a cinematic masterpiece. Not even remotely. But if you want dumb, raunchy, unapologetically ridiculous comedy with a ridiculous protagonist, Leon Phelps will absolutely clock in for duty. 😂 #trizique
