Totally appreciate the good advice. Most stricken Pakistanis will complain about lack of resources, when it is lack of action keeping them where they are. They have learned to fear everything, mistrust everyone and will not take chances. The well off have no interest in a hard life no matter how rewarding. The poor too afraid. Middle class has either already moved or been decimated. Sad state of affairs.

Mariam could probably become Mayor of New York 🤣🤣🤣 if her dad were the President … that’s the difference. And that’s exactly why so many Pakistanis aspire to get a US passport. But when it comes to their own country, suddenly the expectations are different. After living and working abroad for years, you start to appreciate what actually makes developed countries work: discipline, transparency, merit, accountability, and respect for talent and hard work. Of course, you’ll find an “Ali Baba” here and there 🤣, but it’s nowhere near the level or scale you see in many third-world systems. And the irony is incredible: when you want a visa to enter these countries, you have to submit your entire life in paperwork 📑 finances, employment, education, travel history, intentions… because ultimately, they don’t need you; you have to prove why they should want you. Yet once people get that passport, they suddenly forget what made those countries successful in the first place. 🤷♂️🤣
