It's a money laundering scheme that was concocted by Thatcher in the 80s...Force council's to sell off social housing at a knock down price, wait a generation, have your cash rich mates buy them up when people who couldn't really afford them become mired in debt, rent the houses at over inflated figures to people who rely on income support to make the rent...hey presto tax payers money laundered into landlords bank account...usually offshore so as to avoid paying taxes themselves...have landlords as elected MPs so they have no incentive to change it.

there are for sale, but councils don't buy them. Too much money for them. Let investors invest, then take 💰 from them. Still don't buy. All crooks.
