According to the Armed Police Force (APF), rescuers heard the child crying beneath the debris while conducting a search operation in Gosaikunda Rural Municipality–2. The team immediately began digging and found the girl buried under the mud. She was initially reported to be unconscious and in serious condition. Following the rescue, she was taken to the Timure Border Security Post, where APF personnel kept her warm while arrangements were made for further medical treatment.
