If you can't afford to buy books because you need to do things like buy food and pay bills, use it as a resource. Art and knowledge should not be gatekept from the poor. But, if you CAN afford it, BUY YOUR BOOKS. They can't lose money on people who couldn't buy in the first place, so don't be ashamed if you can't afford it.
