It’s a fantastic country to road trip 🧡 Coastlines, castles, national parks, mountains and waterfalls. It’s a nature lovers paradise 🌿 ROAD TRIP DETAILS👇🏼 📆 HOW LONG We would recommend around 7-10 days for this road trip depending on how much you squeeze in to one day! ☀️BEST TIME TO VISIT Summer is the most popular time to visit, but be prepared for crowds. Spring & autumn are a gorgeous time to visit. THE STOPS👇🏼 📍Parys Mountain, Anglesey This is a former copper mine and is known for its beautiful colours that sparkle in the sun! 📍South Stack House Lighthouse, Anglesey It’s a spectacular lighthouse which is also an RSPB Nature Reserve. You can visit, but you do have to pay and there are 400 steps to get down! 📍Llyn Idwal, Eryri National Park We think this hike is actually fairly easy for the reward! It’s classed as a moderate 2.9mile circular walk. 📍Pistyll Rhaedar, Powys A gorgeous waterfall to visit and close to the car park. You can also take the short walk to the top of the falls. 📍Llynnau Cregennen This area is stunning! The roads are quite narrow to get to it, but it’s a beautiful area to walk around the lake. 📍 Elan Valley, Powys A series of reservoirs surrounded by rolling hills and dams, perfect for scenic drives and quiet walks. 📍Henrhyd Falls, Bannau Brycheiniog National Park Highest waterfall in South Wales. Fairly short but steep (ish) walk to get down to the falls. 📍Rhossili Bay, Gower Peninsula One of Wales’ most stunning beaches! Look out for wild ponies. 💚 PLEASE REMEMBER💚 Travel responsibly.
