@ali_khanict: Discipline won’t save you once price starts moving. The problem is trying to make your best decisions when you’re already emotionally involved. Research on precommitment found that people showed better self-control when they made the decision beforehand instead of relying on willpower in the moment. That’s why I try to decide the important things before I’m in the trade. What am I waiting for? What invalidates it? How much am I risking? What am I not touching? The less I leave to decide in the moment, the less room I give myself to negotiate with my own rules.
