I had no choice limit to see my ex after we separated because we share kids, but I grey rocked the crap out of him and it made him SO upset. He struggled not to lash out in public when I was grey rocking while we seperated our phone plans and such. It was actually really satisfying to see his reaction to losing his power over my emotions. It made me feel so free.

My ex dumped me by coming over, taking his stuff, and refusing to speak to me while doing it. Totally blindsided me. Two weeks later he called me to ask if he left his favorite coffee mug at my place. I saw it in the cabinet and asked if he could hold on so I could check. I took the mug to the balcony, launched it onto the driveway, and, after it smashed, I picked the phone back up. “nope, it’s not in the apartment, sorry.” Never spoke to him again, and cleaning up the pieces of that mug felt cathartic.

When my ex finally came to pick up the rest of his stuff, he wanted to act like he was my best friend and chat. I just said, I’ll go get your things and shut the door in his face, locked it, and carried the five boxes to the kitchen door before I unlocked it again & handed him the first one, then quickly stacked the remaining 4 on the deck while he put the first one in his car then I shut the door & locked it again. After he loaded the boxes in his car, he kept knocking on the door to get me to talk to him again. I ignored him and went to take a shower.
