Crispy Chocolate Protein Balls😍 These have about 14 grams of protein per ball! Such a fun and delicious snack idea😋 I used puffed millet in these but you could also use puffed rice or quinoa! More healthy & easy recipes in my Ebooks which have 265 recipes, link is in my profile or go to fitfoodieselma.com 🥰 ingredients for 8 balls: 1/3 cup unsweetened creamy peanut butter (80 ml) 1/4 cup maple syrup (60 ml) 1 teaspoon vanilla paste 1/4 - 1/3 cup milk of choice (60-80 ml) 1 cup puffed quinoa, rice or millet (240 ml) 3/4 cup chocolate protein powder (180 ml / 90 g) 1/2 cup almond flour (120 ml) 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder (60 ml) pinch of salt toppings: 3 oz. 80% dark chocolate (85 g) 1 teaspoon coconut oil optional: 1/4 cup puffed quinoa, rice or millet (60 ml) Flaky sea salt 1. Mix the wet ingredients together 2. Add the dry ingredients and stir. Because protein powders absorb liquid differently depending on brand, add milk little at a time, until the mixture is soft and holds together when pressed 3. Roll into 8 balls 4. Let set in the freezer for 1 hour 5. Melt the chocolate in the microwave with the coconut oil. You can fold in some puffed rice/millet/quinoa 6. Dip the bites in the chocolate and top with flaky sea salt 7. Chill in the fridge until the chocolate is set 8. Store in an air tight container in the fridge or freezer. If you store them in the freezer, let them defrost for 10-15 minutes before serving #proteinballs #proteinbites #energybites #highproteinsnack
