The most unrealistic character so far, playing goalie without glove is countless knuckles, fingers and wrist injuries waiting you each game. Shopping like 2 shot gloveless could easily sprain your wrist badly. She will have a very short career

I love Ted Lasso. and love this season so far, but someone needs to play devils advocate and actually give an explanation. I Played goalie 12 years in a zillion leagues. None even remotely close to pro level. And not wearing gloves is just plain irresponsible...It's not about "feeling the ball." The back of each finger on the gloves have firm-incredibly helpful supports behind the joints to prevent breaking fingers, or hyperextension (which lets the ball get past you). It's why baseball players added the webbing to gloves to catch the ball. It's 100% just to prevent injury so you can keep playing. Not to be unique or send a message. So you can come back the next game because you didn't break your finger trying to rebel. It's the only thing in this season I really thought was just lazy and unnecessary because of how completely impractical it is. (I'm biased because I have experience, but still)
