well its not that complicated if you cant find the qibla and you dont have a compass or any qibla finder installed just do as said by the prophet pbuh Abu Huraira reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whatever is between east and west is the direction of prayer.” and Ibn Umar said: If the west is on your right side and the east is on your left side, the direction of prayer is between them if you set it up.” Source: Sunan al-Tirmidhī 344

There's some prayer rooms (no mosques) there's no indication. carpet looks the same both ways and there's no one there to ask. all it would have taken is a piece of paper and an arrow. but I later realised which way it was. the only indication I had was the door entrance.
