The reality of being a caregiver is something no one understand until they are a caregiver themselves. Just like I have no idea what it feels like to be my disabled husband, he has no idea what goes on in my mind. I love you for doing this ❤️❤️❤️

Listen, I sometimes struggle with my mental health. If I am having a bad day (mentally) or simply on SM to try and find some positive I may scroll/may not stay the entire video. That is my right. It is your right to put on your page. WTF is wrong with people. To be so entitled!!! P.S. sorry I don't stay for EVERY video Caitlin. I still admire you so much and cheer you on on a regular basis.

youre the 1st person to show him any kindness in the gods only know how long & a lot of elderly revert to child-like behaviors as they get older so im sure its only "natural" for him to have a crush on you. but its also hard for everyone involved bc its not reality & while yall dont want to add to his confusion anymore, you still have to set boundaries. rock meeting hard place. you, your partner & ppl that have stepped up 🫶🥰 may yall have all the blessings & strength to continue

Thank you for sharing the reality of being a caregiver. After 4 years with little to no resources or help (including from family) in our area I am utterly exhausted, and it's not the kind of tired sleep can fix. Unless you've lived it you have NO idea the day to day struggles. Most days it feels like nobody cares how the caregiver is doing.

It also helps put out awareness for some to check on neighbors exspecially elderly because it may happen in the areas anyone lives. Nobody should live like that and it should help encourage others to check on love ones and human beings 🙏🏼💙 I love the updates and your whole story with him is heart warming to see someone care for him 🫂 Your amazing

I am going through the same exact stuff! I always stop and watch videos. They make me feel not so alone with his god-awful disease and OMG I could go on a bitch fest that would last for months. girl you gotta get it out. You have to scream, yell, beg, and plead for somebody to hear you for someone to be able to help you I pray for you daily.

I did 639 hard days as a Caregiver full time alone for my Mom. Your story outside of it being my mom...I'd do the same for a stranger that I fell fond of. Your story was mine in a lot of ways. I enjoy watching you being relentless, scared but brave! I see your strength.
