@siimland: Save this post for later ✅️ SAUNA TIMELINE vased on a traditional sauna at approximately 70–90°C: 0–5 min: Skin temperature rises and blood vessels begin dilating 5–10 min: Sweating increases as your body attempts to cool itself 10–20 min: Heart rate and circulation rise, creating cardiovascular stress similar to light or moderate exercise 15–30 min: Core temperature rises and heat-shock-protein signaling may increase 20–30 min: Blood flow remains elevated; temporary changes in immune and hormonal activity may occur After sauna: Blood pressure may fall temporarily, and many people experience relaxation and improved sleep 30+ min: Fluid and electrolyte losses increase, raising the risk of dizziness, dehydration and overheating A lot of this may change between individuals because of different body temperatures The way the sauna works is by increasing body temperature For most people, 15–25 minutes is a realistic session.
