ER doc but also former medic and I spent 7 years doing disaster response (and was based out of Nepal- so I trained mountain guides and did mountain rescues IN the Himalayas)- I have pulled people out of frozen lakes and out of SUPER freezing temperatures packed in snow at -30. NO way in HELL you can gete to 82 degrees in 38 degree weather in a few minutes, it’s insane. Even when we cool people on purpose in the hospital - we have machines that pump cold stuff, we pack them in ice, it takes a long time to get them to like 90. Nothing makes sense to me medically here.
