@that.ginger.zozo: ⛺️⛺️SCREW TENT PEGS⛺️⛺️ After breaking about 10 plastic pegs a couple of weeks ago due to the super hard ground (and needing to buy a shovel to dig them out!) we decided to invest in these. I brought 2 bags to ensure I had enough as you get 20 in a bag, plus I had to buy a cordless drill (£30 from Amazon) , but we are now set up for all grounds and all weathers. I must say I enjoyed using these, made it a bit of fun putting up the tent and best of all no blisters on the hand or aching arm! don't put the rope on till it's nearly in position, otherwise you'll fray the ropes

Would take me less time to just hammer normal pegs in also should be inserted at a 45degree angle

I always tilt the tent peg more towards me as I believe it would take more effort to pull it out of the ground rather than straight down

I’ve been wild camping for many years, and most of the time I’ve had to pitch on harder terrain. You really don’t need a drill… the secret is simply buying long pegs and using a hammer.
The shape of the peg also makes a difference. Y-shaped pegs work better in softer earth, while nail-style pegs are more suitable for rocky or hard ground.
Just get some good, long pegs and you’ll be fine.

pour faire simple .... pour faire du camping il faut emmener une visseuse /dévisseuse / un chargeur de batterie à la place d'un simple marteau en bois ou en caoutchouc
