@overruledlife: We’re back from our all-summer off-grid beach camping trip — sadly, according to Carrie 😂 — and we decided it is finally time to make a serious push to get our house renovations DONE. So we made a giant list of everything that still needs to be finished and decided to start back on the downstairs bathroom build. That bathroom actually started years ago, but then a giant tree in our front yard was struck by lightning, fell on the house, and crushed the front wall. So, understandably, the bathroom got pushed aside while we dealt with that. And yes… the front wall still isn’t totally finished either. 😂 Johnny was getting ready to put up the ceiling when he noticed water dripping from the dryer duct. He checked it out and found the ducting absolutely packed with lint, debris and… TWIGS?!?! So instead of working on the bathroom today… he’s replacing the dryer ducting. Of course he is. 😂 This is the first project in our Fall 2026 round of Operation: Don’t Knock the House Down ⚡️— and apparently we’re starting with a Dryer Duct Disaster instead of the bathroom build. 🙄 Stay tuned.
