My tumble dryer went the same way. I was quoted over £100 to fix it plus I had to take the tumble dryer to the shop! I did it myself, cost me around £14 for a new belt from Amazon.

but if filter is full won't spin either .found this out last week tried the belt thing.knew it was not that .machine would not empty either .so opened the door on bottom and used a wet vac .pulled out filter and 1 coin stopped it working .and a screw .

My sister machine was not draining, she called someone out but he could not come out until a few days time. Glad I went round to see her before he came as it was only a hair clip in the filter 😂
