The guy chose to leave her bc he was in debt and did not want to drag her down with him, he still loves her but chose to protect her in a way that wouldn’t bring her down in despair so he left her, yall acting like he cheated on her

first, i would be mad that he starts actively pursuing her again AFTER running into her instead of before they met. That just makes it seem like it’s because they met, while she was never in his mind before. Then, in the plane, he wasn’t proactive about it. Then, the bag?! Whatthefudge? You dont just give a bag for what he did, and definitely not jn that timing.
