this game is mostly fun but some of the shit the coil get later on is just annoying. the burst move and retaliation aren't fun to deal with.

its really good for snipers or anyone using the longarm blaster because it hits hard but normally costs 2 ap to fire. but in overwatch mode it can be fired for 1 ap each shot.

I love this game but if you are a xcom veteran this is xcom on easy mode. No reloads, no panic effects or permanent trauma on your units, 3 downs until permadeath, assist attack on every turn, ultimate moves in the form of advantage skills, explosives do not destroy loot (because there's no loot), also you can push enemies off the arena with the jedi padawan. Still loving it but don't expect the same level of challenge as something like long war.

Snipers - 1 Shot Repeaters - 1 Shot (with more DPS) Rifles - 2 Shots Pistols - 3 Shots ^ This is if you use all your AP.

ive only seen two of your videos and I am now much smarter for it i thank you first was the linear menu now how overwatch really works as an xcom fan this is a huge difference

I like overwatch, but it personally shines for me best when dealing with destroyer droids. Doesn’t stop the damn things rolling, but at least I don’t need to deal with their shields.

It’s not broken because you’re running the risk of overwatch being interrupted. If you have three stacks of overwatch, and get hit, you lose all of them.

Also leaves you exposed and negates your cover bonus if you have to pop out- it can get you hurt a lot if you’re using it on the front line and not keeping track of the turn order (which the game SHOULD do for you)

Backup used by someone with a blaster pistols and overwatch are incredible together as well. Get a free attack from one with a repeater for 1 AP only and use the rest for overwatch if possible.

except trips shots are how ever much energy he has left in a single volly for increased damage so he gets 1 OW period unless ypu change his set up from default

I love how they implemented it. Definitely benefits snipers most, and using multiple action points lets you get attacks on multiple targets. But you still have to pick a position where you're not exposed to enemy ranged attacks, and even if you hit a enemy, they can still attack you if they're in range and cancel your remaining overwatch.

what i also love is that any movement will trigger overwatch. EX: if you get Jae to shove someone inside an overwatch cone, that will trigger it
