I’m all for saving money, but a bag of potatoes at Christmas has been 15p for the last few years. Growing your own is a great idea but not going to save you money, the soil itself is more than 15p

it's very late in the year to be planting potatoes. usually done march/april and already harvested and stored by now. unless they are special late cropping variety seed potatoes the frost will kill them. if you're lucky you might get small new type potatoes

Sorry to be stupid, do you mean every few days when you see sprouts coming through then cover them again with a couple of inches of soil each time?? Or is it just the sprouting coming through on this video you was talking about x
