first of all. gorgeous, girl. you ate this look up!!!! second of all. i came from twitter, where this has been screenshotted and reposted due to the amount of people who have decided to view this as 'whitefacing' when it is not, by any means, whitefacing. if that were even a thing in the first place. for those of you who clearly need to be educated on such things... had a white girl done this trend, but instead of pink frosting, she did brown frosting. it STILL would not be blackfacing. yall need to learn the different between actual blackfacing and painting a part of your face the color brown to participate in a makeup trend. and the same thing can be said the other way around. now, not only is this NOT whitefacing. but whitefacing isnt a thing because white people are not opressed by any means on their own. blackfacing is an issue because white people do it with ill intent to an already oppressed race, in most cases BECAUSE there is already opression and they have chosen to normalize that behaviour. no person of color is doing this cake makeup trend to mock, belittle, put down, or 'oppress' white people. its a makeup trend, and some of yall need to pull your head outta the sand, do some studying, and work on being better people 🙏🏻
