For me, I have to talk to people who don’t have common sense because it’s part of my job. 😂 So when it comes to my personal life, it’s hard for me to have those type of people in my inner circle because I get overstimulated. Your video just gave me a reminder that not everybody you encounter lacks intelligence, but everybody does not have the same appetite or capacity for complexity, abstraction, nuance, psychological analysis, or extended conversation. And recognizing that can save an enormous amount of cognitive energy. So thank you for this reminder. 🙌🏽

I learned this years ago, it’s been the most peaceful time of my life. Sometimes I do catch myself wanting to correct them but I just say “ok” and keep it moving.
