I want someone’s opinion on this situation with my long distance gf. So, i was planning go out with friends last night and i told her that and she be safe and have fun nd stuff and text me when you can so i will but them she starts spamming me talking when are u leaving over and over again i said rn then she can we call i was confused at first cuz i was leaving then she got all sad and started saying ill miss u and she will by herself so my dumbass cancelled on my friends cuz i felt bad and decided to stay so we can call and once i told her she said give me a sec and we can call and i waited and waited minutes turned to hours and i stayed up all night waiting for her to call but she messaged me saying good night and i was like wtf in my head so i just said good night. I just want to know should i say smth or just brushed it off. Be honest pls

True. Ignoring and not communicating is immature and causes resentment. Even when upset, a couple need to talk it out, especially before going to sleep. No keeping score, no criticizing; simply and calmly explain feelings and situation. No one wants to wake up with heaviness in their chest the following morning after not having made up with their partner. ⚔️

Relationships don’t work these days also because of how much rhetoric there is around there being “plenty of fish in the sea” and how “someone else will treat you better” as if we aren’t all walking trauma wounds. Not only does that encourage people to leave instead of work on things, it also can instill a subconscious understanding that you are replaceable and therefore the expectation that you will, in fact, be replaced the moment you lose your perfection
