took me and my husband 10 years before we got married. we went through so much and throughout it all we just wanted the other person there. I'm so glad we took the time because if we went any quicker I dont think it would've been the same. we have 4 amazing children and I can't stay it enough. take your time. teach your partner. love your partner. choose your partner

my parents dated for a year before they got married. They were married for 44 years. my dad's parent's wrote each other and 2 weeks after meeting they married. They were together for 59 years. My other grandparents 53 years. My husband and I almost 34 years and together for 40.

I have been with my man for eight years. I grew up very differently than him. He came from a family that was very family oriented, and there for one another, and I didn’t have that. I used to think that I would never find anyone and as a teenager, I would actually pray to God and ask him to bring me someone so I wasn’t so lonely, and then my boyfriend came into my life. He’s changed my heart I have become a better person because of him he has seen me at my lowest and my highest and I’m so thankful for him. He is my best friend he’s not going anywhere and I’m not going anywhere. We know we want to get married. I’ve always struggled with my weight. so I’m trying to lose weight so I can look good on my wedding day and not look back at my photos and talk negatively about myself and my boyfriend told me he will wait until I feel happy with myself ❤️

yup agree, i wanted to be in a long relationship first. i been with my man for 15 years. i was scared of divorce and having to marry quick because i had to be stuck with someone that later i want to divorce but after sometime he said, it was time we got married and i agreed. now we will be eloping this year. That man was patient enough until i was ready.
