We used to have a bunch of Gatorade in our house bc me and my dad loved it, but then he passed away. The same night I grabbed one to drink and it tasted absolutely disgusting, so I never drank it again for like a year

my grandma and I loved sweets and she would give everyone a piece of candy no matter what and one day after my grandma had went to the hospital and sent me candy my mom got a call saying she died the same day she sent the candy I can't look at candy without longing for her to share it with me

my great grandma (who was 104) was living in this elderly persons home that sold this AMAZING strawberry ice cream that i loved. one day my mom came home with the ice cream, gave it to me, and when i was halfway through she told me my great grandma had died. i threw up the ice cream.

on new years I got a phone call that my aunt died we were eating burgers which were her favorite food I ate one bite and threw up. anytime I eat burgers I can't help but feel like I'm going to throw up.

My dad works on the road and he was 27 hours away from home both times, and he’s missed two of my birthdays in a row, so when my mother took me out for my birthday, we went to this restaurant and I absolutely LOVE Alfredo, will eat it back to back to back, but when I started to eat it, I got real shaky and it didn’t taste as good as I hoped.

i used to love eating meatloaf with scalloped potatoes because me and my grandma enjoyed eating it a lot of nights. or on occasion for snacks we'd have popcorn and hot cocoa. I haven't had the heart to eat it again since she passed.

Went to Wendy’s after seeing my mom in hospice the day she died. It didn’t taste the same, and I don’t like Valentine’s Day as much without her because she died the day before Valentine’s Day and it was her favorite holiday.
