He lied and told me that he was moving back home. We live in Dallas, and he was from El Paso. He didn’t move, he stayed another year and then moved back later. Come to find out, he broke up with me and lied the day after he signed a lease on a new apartment. He also dumped me the day before Christmas, and I had to return all the gifts I bought for him. I never had a boyfriend to buy gifts for before. 🥲

She broke up with me a week before Christmas, her reason was I make no time for her and don’t pay attention to her. My reason was I worked 60 to 70 hours a week and did side jobs, i payed for her nails, lashes, waxing, 2 to 3 dinner dates where it’s $40 per person

Dated for 6 months. Long distance and I made every effort to “be there” without being there. I’d pay for meals, medical amenities, play his favorite games for him, etc. Found out 3 months in he cheated the first month, I forgave him and moved on. I wasn’t super fit and shredded with abs or anything. But still his “type” and he’d bring up everything he didn’t like about my body on occasions. Then said he wanted to live the full college and young guy experience. He was going abroad to the UK and got that app to “see what’s to offer there” and said he didn’t think he’d be able to be faithful to us if he went. Then a week before the breakup I proceeded to get told everything they distaste about my body, my mentality, etc. I pushed hard at the gym, lost the weight and gained more muscle mass than I already had. Felt good about myself. Then they broke up with me and blamed it on me saying I was too insecure, overthought too often on what they said, caused them stress, etc. Wasted 6 months for it.

Ill be honest, I dont hate any of my exes or was the endings ever bad. Sure arguments happened. But eventually you realize life is to short to spend it with the wrong person. So I always felt it was a good deed to separate when we did as it allowed me to meet new amazing people who set an even higher standard for love.
