Great post Dr Sugai! I recommend silicone scar sheets to my patients too! They are excellent. In sun exposed areas i recommend the silicone sheets with SPF. Would you also suggest this?

We started using sheets on my 10yo’s knee after he scraped it really bad while we were on vacation. The scar is hypertrophic and was really red. Within a couple of days of using the scar tape, the color was lightening and it was already starting to flatten out. It’s fascinating…how do they actually work?
