Hot take - having a child at 53 is selfish. Probably less so for Cameron Diaz because she's wealthy and likely has her affairs in order. For peasants at that age, it's kind of like bringing a child into the world just to be a caretaker you don't have to pay.

It can be done….my parents started super late in life for their times. They both got their degrees….did some living and then met in their mid 30’s. My mom was 38 dad was 41 when they had me the baby in the family. My childhood was ultra stable and I live with so so many great memories they provided. My father passed 1 month shy of 97. Mom still lives in my childhood home. They did it right. 💜
