It's a setting. You can change it. Open a live, press the share button, then "background player", then select "none."

A way you can fix this is to add the optimize widget to your homescreen. When you optimize it, if TikTok glitches, it stops.

if long press tiktop app icon then select the i on the top corner, it will take you to the app settings. is a shortcut.

Same. To resolve... just go back to the "LIVE" icon and hit the x (any live video playing should do) or go the settings to force it close.
