@ninaforcher: How could it go so wrong directly? 😭 First vlog from the US and I didn’t even make it through the first connecting flight before losing my AirPod case. Great start. But apparently that was just the warm-up. We’re currently on our way to Black Rock City and are now completely stuck because we have a broken tire and can’t drive any further. We don’t even know yet if or when someone is coming to help us 😂 And somehow… we’re still in a really good mood. Which actually fits perfectly with what I was talking about in this video. A few months ago, Burning Man was just this slightly insane idea in my head while I was sitting in Ibiza placing thousands of tiny pins and beads into a sculpture. And now I’m actually here. In the US. With the sculpture. Somewhere on the way to Black Rock City, currently not moving at all. 😭 I’ve never been to Burning Man before, I have absolutely no idea what the next few days are going to look like, and getting myself AND this artwork across the world is already turning into quite the experience. But maybe that’s part of it. You can’t control everything that happens when you decide to do something completely outside your comfort zone. You can only deal with whatever happens along the way and try to keep laughing when things inevitably go wrong. So here we are. AirPod case: gone. Tire: gone. Mood: surprisingly good. Imago Mundi: still with us. 😂 Black Rock City… hopefully see you soon.
