Why do medical providers think it’s funny to say stuff like this. Some advice for those struggling. If you think you can make it through the next 12 hours wait, call your community service board, or go on psychology today, they will be able to direct you to a behavioral health treatment team and rush your appointment. Always try to get in sooner with a therapist and psychiatrists, a psych ward will never give you the actual therapeutic help you need, it’s just a holding place until you can be safe
