If you need crutches you can still sit down normally, if you don’t have arms you can still sit down normally, if you’re blind/deaf you can sit normally, and people in wheelchairs don’t need chairs by definition so I’m not quite sure what the point of that “pro-disabled” bench is except for anti-homeless architecture. In fact, they’ve just made the bench less convenient for the disabled.

how about a lifting lid kinda thing if that makes sense? like the seat can lift to be the back so that wheelchair users can sit with they're friends kinda like folding bus seats
