More than 2400 people are still missing. At least 675 have died following Wednesday's catastrophic flash flooding caused by a collapsing glacier. CBS's Remy Asencio is there and has the very latest. Remy Dica, good evening. And from what we saw in the disaster zone today, this catastrophe spared no one. From Hindu pilgrims to foreign treers to hydro power workers, parents and babies, and there were 90 Americans still missing. And tonight, we saw for the first time when this glacier actually collapsed. Revealed by a drone's camera over the high Himalayas. This video from Chinese social media shows how a wall of ice and snow sheared off the Nepal Tibet border. Below the clouds, the avalanches that snowballed with debris kicked off a tsunami of flash floods in Nepal that slammed into dozens of settlements across nearly 50 miles. Families of the so many missing are hoping for news at this army base near the flood hit town of Newokot. This is one of the search and rescue helicopters now landing. An army official told [music] me that they can do 15 sorties every hour back and forth out for a total of about 500 every single day. But time is of the essence. That's because there are more than 3,000 people still missing across both this side of the border and in Tibet. Each flight in brought a handful of people, some carried out by stretcher. But with each passing day, hope is dwindling for good news. In Nepal's capital, morgs are filling up. Photos of the dead, many disfigured in the catastrophe, flutter outside as people try to identify them. I saw death right in front of my eyes. California couple Anjenaraja and Patabiron Venatasa were minutes from Tibet when the tsunami appeared in front of their tour bus. We had sat on the bus 1 minute longer we were gone.
