Y’all know I LOVE the Luxe Corm Condos for propagating my Alocasia corms, but check out these NEW Glow Risers!😍✨ These are SO fun! A few tips for using them (SAVE FOR LATER): 🌱 Hydrate first: Before placing your corms in, especially if they’re a little dry, soak them in water for an hour or so to rehydrate them. I’ve found this can help reduce issues with mold. This design also has larger holes, which was intentional to allow for better water exchange. 💧 Add water: Once your corms are in place, fill the container with water to just below the riser. You can add nutrients if you’d like, but it’s not necessary. 🏷️ Label + place: Label your corms, close the lid, and place the condo somewhere warm and humid. ☀️ Help prevent algae: I prefer keeping mine under grow lights and away from direct sunlight. I’ve found this helps tremendously with algae buildup. 💦 Change the water weekly: Refreshing the water once a week helps keep everything clean and fresh inside and this routine has worked SO well for me! I also love this method because, as a busy mama, I don’t have to constantly worry about my corms drying out like I did with the puddle method. There’s plenty of water in the reservoir to keep them consistently hydrated with minimal maintenance.
