Lake Worth got a group of alleged crash out specialists turning an Airbnb into a low budget hostage headquarters. On July 20, two individuals pulled up to a house on South Ocean Breeze after being invited by Michael Rescigno, not knowing they were allegedly walking into the Palm Beach County edition of Set It Off, directed by somebody with a 430 credit score. According to PBSO, Rescigno and two other men allegedly jumped the victims while a woman stood around holding a f*rearm like the world’s most aggressive Walmart greeter. The crew reportedly snatched two Cuban link bracelets worth $10,000 and a $500 gold nugget ring. Four people allegedly working together to steal three pieces of jewelry? That’s not organized crime. That’s a group project for people who ate glue in school. Deputies say one victim was held inside a bedroom while the men allegedly encouraged the armed woman to sh*ot, and the other was held hostage in the backyard, robbed of their phone, and threatened with d*ath if they screamed. Both eventually escaped and received treatment at JFK Medical Center. Investigators later identified 26 year old Eric Matthew Raby II as an alleged participant, charging him with kidn*pping, armed robbery, aggravated battery, and grand theft. Now this man is facing four serious charges over a jewelry heist that allegedly required an entire Avengers roster of bad decisions. Imagine risking decades behind bars just to end up splitting the proceeds like a struggling high school fundraiser. These folks allegedly had enough manpower to start a landscaping company but chose a felony subscription instead.
