Can’t wait to try more of her recipes🤩, my family absolutely loved this!😊 🍰 Homemade Milk Tart Recipe👇🏼 For the biscuit base: 1½ packets Tennis biscuits 50 g butter, melted 1 tsp vanilla essence _ For the milk filling: 4 cups milk 1½ tbsp butter 1 tsp vanilla essence 3 eggs ¾ cup sugar 2½ tbsp corn flour (cornstarch) 2½ tbsp cake flour Ground cinnamon, for sprinkling Method 1. Crush 1½ packets Tennis biscuits finely. Add 50 g melted butter and 1 tsp vanilla essence. Mix well and press firmly into your tart dish to form the base. 2. In a pot, heat 4 cups milk, 1½ tbsp butter and 1 tsp vanilla essence until the butter has melted. Don’t boil. 3. In a separate bowl, beat 3 eggs and ¾ cup sugar. Add 2½ tbsp corn flour and 2½ tbsp cake flour, and mix until smooth. 4. Add 1 cup of the warm milk mixture to the egg mixture while stirring continuously. Mix until there are no lumps. 5. Pour the egg mixture back into the pot with the remaining milk. Stir continuously over medium heat until the mixture thickens and starts bubbling. 6. Remove from the stove immediately and pour over the biscuit base. 7. Sprinkle with cinnamon and refrigerate for at least 1½ hours. For the best results, leave it overnight.
