The 2009 film was wayyy better than the 2011 film... it definitely didnt need a remake... the book gave a more detailed account of the characters and storyline, certainly top tier... I also own the film trilogy

I saw the movie, but I might have to read the book now. The swedish movie version is also very different from the English one. It felt more intense and dramatic.
