you're not going to believe this, but there is a 3k ai dog on the market that people are buying for themselves & their kids. I have a lot of feelings about this... think about this - 1. you pay three grand, then $300 a year once the first three are up, or it stops being the dog your kid knows. the personality lives in the cloud. you are not buying a pet... you are renting one. 2. it is programed to you or your kid. never gets sick, never has a bad day, never ignores them because it is tired. which sounds like love and is actually just a setting. a real dog is not like that. sometimes our dog, apple, is inconvenient. our dog gets sick, or has accidents, or wakes up in the middle of the night, but more importantly, she has a real connection with each of us. you learn to love something by taking care of it when it is good & bad. you learn to lose something by losing it. an ai dog doesn't teach kids (or adults) those valuable life lessons. send this to the mom who would buy this for their family this holiday season. what do you think of this ai dog?! #aiparenting #robotdog #momsofinstagram #kidsandai #techmom
