Hear me out. A friend of mine is in the same situation. His story is that he got a connection through corrupt department officials. Because he was still young and getting a house through the normal process was going to be a long process, he and his girlfriend—whom he found with two kids, and they later had their third child together—decided to call her mother and make her the owner of the house. Now that the house is there, everyone from the Eastern Cape is there saying, “This is our mother’s house.” Mind you, the guy is the one who gave the officials money.
