I hate when people slam her for how she was with her mom. She had a lot of trauma associated with that night. The same night she lost her dad was the same night she heard her mother say “that child isn’t mine” granted we know the mom said it in a moment of frustration but to devi it was like losing both parents the same night

i lost my dad at 14, i related to devi in a lot of ways even though our stories aren’t the same. this show really helped me realize in the grand scheme of things im doing my best. love this show
